So this weekend, after another night out tonight in Selby (my old friends from college are back home from uni), I'm kind of looking forward to having a bit of a rest. Just staying at home, no doubt nursing a hangover, and possibly trying to finally finish re-doing my bedroom (for the past six months half of it has been completed, while the other half is just a mass of clothes, books and cds that I'm yet to listen to. It needs sorting). There'll be no trains to catch, no deadlines to keep, no running around in a panic. Admittedly there'll also be nothing to look forward to (apart from a lie-in), but sometimes that bit of calmness is nice.
Today I'm reading: I'm still on Glamorama by Bret Easton Ellis, but I'm nearly finished. Because it's so twisted and confusing, it's a very difficult book to read, and you really have to concentrate to keep up with what's going on. But I'm nearly there. No doubt like his other books there won't be a defined ending anyway, so the conclusion to the story seems almost pointless.
Today I'm listening to: Of course it's Frankie & the Heartstrings. I only have six songs by them on a live record, so they are going round and round in my head on a loop.
Today I'm wearing: At the moment I'm at work, so I'm wearing a white shirt, black tapered-leg trousers and pumps. Actually this is more than likely what I'd be wearing anyway, only with more plaid.
I'll end with this. It makes me smile every time I read it.
a lovely clam weekend is just the ticket, I'm indulging in a plan free lazy Sunday :) loving your model crush below, met her for a casting the other day, she's amazing! Your blog is great, definitely be back! come follow TBAG if you fancy, love xx
