Another thing: today is the one week anniversary of the day that I met Bret Easton Ellis. I am still feeling enlightened by the experience. The other day I stared at the photograph by my bed and I just cried.
neil gaiman is my very favorite author, cherie. good choice of quote. it is altogether true. as sons and daughters of our mothers and fathers, we are sent out into the universe wholly unprepared for it. what a way to go!
